Potential impact of solution: Would the potential solution lead to a significant reduction in water usage without sacrificing hygiene?

With our in-depth mist technology (see below) fused in the faucet, we save upto 60% of water as compared to an average household tap. Ensuring the savings of the water and the return of the product cost back in electricity bill savings. Consequently, even with this amount of water savings, The Angle and the unique design gives our product a great surface area to release water from almost an adjustable angle (of up to 180 degrees) around the users hands to promote hygiene and ease of usability

Relevance to design brief: How well does the proposed solution answer the brief?

It ensures the exceptional savings of water, whilst also promoting hygiene. Moreover, It is completely user friendly being adjustable to a convenient angle and further foldable for easier storage and mobility. Moreover, the product is also attachable to about 90% of all the average household faucet types, using a unique lock and key mechanism. Furthermore the choice of colours and the simple design makes the product customizable and aesthetically pleasing.

Creativity and originality: Is the solution original, on trend and engaging?

The solution is completely original, taking ideas from a new type of simple mist technology ( a DIY version of the complex mist technology used in agriculture).
The solution would surely be on trend and would ensure engagement due to the great savings of water bills, Ease of usability and customizable design giving users comfort and luxury whilst also promoting a noble cause.
For people both who seek comfort and for those who believe in Water savings and the sustainable development goals.

Feasibility: Would it be financially and technically feasible to implement this solution?

Our estimated costs for implementing the material that we would use for making the product rust proof and durable would be about 120 AED (approx. $33 USD) to last for 6 months.

Level of completion: Is the idea fully developed? Is the idea specific and clear?

The idea is a 100% complete design with predictions, statistics and various materials in place. The idea covers every specific aspect of the brief and further emphasizes on additional benefit and why this would exactly be the product that a user would need.

Water Saving/ Mist technology

The potential product would in-co-operate a specific type of mist technology developed by us. The mis technology was an idea taken from the usual agriculture innovations expo that included a high pressured water going through smaller holes creating a mist like water vapour that would spread water into the fields specifically saving about 90% of water.

Our Mist technology uses the same concept of having water rushed through various tubes to increase the pressure and finally released through miniscule, extremely tiny holes. Our predictions show us that this would approximately, on average, save about 60% of water when compared to normal household running taps over a period of time. WIthout decreasing the effectiveness or experience of washing hand

Hinge Mechanism

Our foldable hinge mechanism allows for the faucet to be folded into a small box and easily movable from a certain place to another whilst also allowing for lesser storage space. Mainly our hinge mechanism allows for the product, once attached, to be folded to a maximum of a 180 degree angle than allows water to release from such a great surface area (Kavi:: might need pics here). The larger surface area allows for the ease of usability and the adjustability to fit into any and all sink types and sizes around the world. Moreover this especially caters to people with shaky hands or specific medical conditions such as the hyperthyroidism, pheochromocytoma, Wilson's disease Essential tremor, Parkinsons and many more.

Moreover the product is also fittable to hoses and various other sources of water which may be smaller than about 7 centimeters. Consequently for such various tasks, the hinge mechanism qualifies to be a crucial asset

Universal lock and key mechanism

One of the main aspects of this product that makes it stand out, is the Universal lock and key mechanism. Which consists of sort of del based rubber technology that would connect the product to the faucet via a cylinder about 7cm in height which would be able to fit to any and all faucet spouts and aerators that are less
